I’m a product designer, researcher, and maker. I’ve spent 10+ years designing SaaS products and features, and I’m happiest when I own a problem end-to-end, from strategy through launch.
My process spans user research, data analysis, prototyping, and front-end code. Although the tools have changed, the role of the designer hasn't: understand the problem, design the solution, and see it through to launch and beyond.

Sara is an absolute rockstar of a designer and collaborator. She has a great ability to understand customer problems and turn them into thoughtful, elegant design solutions. Her collaboration with engineers is a joy to watch, and design reviews with her are always valuable. I always come away with new perspectives and things to think about.

Sara brings tons of passion, from how she approaches problem-solving for our customers to how she improves her craft and develops new skills. It’s clear that she’s thinking about the bigger picture, not just the problem that’s in front of her. She has passion for the company, the customers, the results and her craft.
Sara has added significant changes to our frontend codebase in the last year. Her ability to go between Design and Engineering disciplines results in a better UI and UX for our customers, a more ideal workload, and greater confidence in design artifacts because of her intimate knowledge of how they’ll be implemented.
I was exposed early in my career to the tenets of web standards, accessibility, and designing in code. Those ideas shaped everything — they’re why I learned front-end development, why I care about how things are actually built, and why I’ve always been more comfortable than most designers sitting next to engineers.
Below is my collection of first editions from the A Book Apart series. These authors and concepts set the foundation.
That foundation made what came next feel natural. When AI coding tools started maturing, I was already the designer who built in the browser. Cursor, Codex, and agentic workflows aren’t a pivot for me — they’re an acceleration of something I was already doing. I now prototype directly in the product, in code, and ship work that’s closer to what actually launches. The line between designing and making has always been blurry for me. Now it’s almost gone, and I think that’s a good thing.
I have a background in fine art as well as design, and I strive to maintain an active art practice. Art is a balancing force for me — a space for personal expression and analog creation.
An anchor of my art practice is daily sketching. I use this time to meditate on the daily experience through observations of the natural and built world.
